(La Porte, IN) – Holladay Properties’ Portage office is planning to build new retail projects at the 50-acre NewPorte Landing development located at the Pine Lane Avenue and Truesdell Avenue in La Porte, IN. The projects could break ground as soon as Spring 2018.

Holladay representatives have been working with the Greater LaPorte Economic Development Corporation, the LaPorte Redevelopment Commission, the Community Development Partnership, and the City of LaPorte, Indiana since 2013 on the NewPorte Landing project, including providing consulting, remediation, and marketing services. The site was previously home to the Allis-Chalmers factories and involved extensive site remediation to make the land ready for development.

Holladay Properties is the lead developer for a 17-acre region of NewPorte Landing that will be home to restaurants, retail shops, and medical-retail tenants. Holladay is in the early planning stages for two adjacent retail buildings totaling 15,000 square feet that planners and developers hope will attract additional users to the project.
