Holladay Properties’ Indiana Property Management has executed a new property management agreement in South Bend with Indiana University to begin managing five single family rental homes that the university owns surrounding its campus. The contract commenced December 1, 2021.
“I am excited to announce our newest partnership with Indiana University,” said Kyle McFarland, Director of Property Management for Holladay Properties. “Their South Bend campus is acquiring single family residential homes in the South Bend community surrounding their campus, and they have recently awarded Holladay the opportunity to assist them in renovating, leasing and managing these homes.”
As part of the agreement, Holladay will provide budget and operations services, accounting and financial administration, maintenance including repairs, and capital improvements management. The Holladay team will also provide leasing services for the single-family residential properties.
“Currently in Indiana, we do not manage a single family residential portfolio, but with our background in residential and commercial management, we felt that it only made sense to tap in to this niche real estate management market,” McFarland said. “We are excited about the new challenge for our South Bend management team to oversee the management and maintenance of these assets.”
Holladay’s Indiana Property Management department manages over 1.5 million square feet of multi-family residential, office, retail and industrial properties for third-party owners throughout the state. This includes full service, facilities management, and caretaking management services.
