Spring has sprung and brought with it a flurry of activity at Holladay Properties’ 1,500 acre mixed use business park, AmeriPlex-Indianapolis. Land sales and construction were teeming during the month of May for the Holladay Properties team.
Construction of the new 2,100 square foot, stand-alone Subway Restaurant has concluded and the restaurant is performing well at its location on AmeriPlex Parkway south of the I-70 interchange. The Subway restaurant is the first development in the AmeriPlex Parkway Center, which will feature restaurants, a hotel, and several office/commercial facilities.
While the construction at Subway was drawing to an end, construction of the 12,000 square foot build-to-suit for Ohio-based Brechbuhler Scales, Inc. was just beginning. The facility, which was designed by Holladay Properties, is currently underway with Holladay Construction Group serving as the general contractor. The scale service branch location, which will open in September of 2011, will offer scale sales, full scale testing and service, manned and unmanned scale systems and scale rentals.
Construction is also beginning on infrastructure improvements, which will open up nearly 75 acres for development for industrial and commercial use at AmeriPlex. The project includes 1,000 feet of improvements to Stanley Road as well as the installation of 1,500 feet of new roadway, which will be called Mirabel Road. The Holladay/AmeriPlex team has several leads and the new infrastructure improvements are certain to boost activity at the park.
