Holladay Properties has broken ground on three new commercial real estate developments in Virginia. The projects include a 30,000 square foot Class A research and wet lab facility, a 10,000 square foot build to suit for Boot Barn, and an 8,000 square foot office building.

The Northern Virginia Bioscience Center is located on 4.4 acres at 9307 Discovery Boulevard in Manassas, VA, within Innovation Park, next to George Mason University’s STEM campus. The 30,000 square foot wet lab research facility is designed to handle research into cancer causing agents, Lyme disease, pharmaceutical delivery, and other non-bio hazard studies.

The project has broken ground and is expected to be completed in December 2021 with Kinsley Construction serving as the General Contractor. Holladay is worked with Christopher Consultants Ltd. for civil engineering and Loveless Porter Architects LLC on the conceptual design for the project.

The 10,000 square foot build to suit for Boot Barn is located within Holladay’s Winding Brook development near Richmond, VA. Boot Barn is a national retail chain that sells a variety of Western and work-related apparel, shoes, accessories and gifts. The project broke ground this month and is expected to be completed in Fall 2021.

The Winding Brook Office is a 8,000 square foot single-story building that is also located within Holladay’s Winding Brook development. Building shell delivery is expected in Spring 2021.

Holladay is working with Perretz and Young Architects for the design and The Trent Corporation as the General Contractor for Boot Barn and the Winding Brook Office projects.
