Holladay Properties has been selected to develop a new 80 bed townhouse-style dormitory for Grace College and Seminary, an evangelical Christian institute of higher learning. The new dormitory will be situated at the entrance to Grace’s main campus in Winona Lake, IN.
“Grace College and Seminary is excited to partner with Holladay Properties to provide quality housing solutions for our ever growing student population,” said Tom Dunn, VP of Strategic Initiatives and Planning for Grace. “They have provided an innovative solution which allows us the flexibility to grow and meet the needs of the school.”
Holladay has been working since March on plans to assist Grace College in addressing their student housing needs, with representatives from both South Bend and Portage offices providing resources and expertise towards the effort. Holladay participated in a competitive RFP process and was selected from multiple developers to design and build the project.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with an institution like Grace College to provide innovative student housing solutions,” said Drew Mitchell, VP-Development for Holladay Properties. “We also have to thank our architectural partner, Design Collaborative, a company with a great deal of student housing design experience and expertise.”
The new dormitory will sit at the corner of West 7th Street and King’s Highway and will provide a much needed solution to Grace College’s student housing shortage. Grace will master lease the project from Holladay Properties to provide on-campus housing for primarily upper-classmen.
