John Phair, Chairman and Chief Development Officer at Holladay Properties and a member of the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph County Board of Directors for 36 years, has been inducted into the Boys & Girls Club Hall of Fame!
In 1987, John joined the Board of Directors and became a founding member of what is now the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph County.
He was instrumental in the funding and construction of the OC Carmichael Jr. Youth Center, the Club’s flagship location in South Bend, Indiana.

This building now serves as a venue an after school program, special events, and community gatherings. John’s leadership has guided the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph through many transformations, and he continues to advise on the building’s current renovations.
John and his wife, Barb, have demonstrated unwavering commitment to the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph’s mission and the entire South Bend community. John always makes decisions in the best interests of the children served by the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph and is no stranger to volunteering, attending every fundraiser, and inspiring everyone.
The Boys & Girls Club’s mission is to serve the youth of our community by providing social, physical, academic, cultural, and family experiences in a safe environment and to help develop a value system that will prove the quality of their lives and lead them to become productive, responsible citizens.
