The Healthcare Project Delivery Conference was held January 25-26, 2019, in San Diego, CA, and Holladay Properties was well represented with Jeff Ottman, EVP-Operations, Kelly Manion, SVP-Property Management, and Ken Whitaker, SVP-Healthcare, Capital Projects, in attendance. The Conference offers tools and best practices to administrators and developers evaluating their next healthcare facility investment.

“The Conference offered through a series of keynotes, panels, and roundtable presentations presented very strong insight to the challenges that healthcare infrastructure issues create for system operators. Multiple delivery models, financing and procurement solutions and best practices were shared in the variety of forums,” stated Kelly Manion. “I was most impressed with the number of successful partnerships, team approaches and, the implementation of complex projects that were shared from both the United States and Canadian healthcare perspectives; two very different healthcare models. The venue was top-notch and the City of San Diego remains one of my favorite travel locations.”

The two day program explored innovative approaches to expansions, renovations and new developments with a specific emphasis on procurement, financing, planning, design, construction, and operations. The agenda showcased upcoming projects and RFP opportunities, presented commercial or professional procedures that are accepted or prescribed as being correct or most effective in traditional and alternative project delivery, and provided incredible networking opportunities for industry leaders, developers, owners, and healthcare administrators.
