(La Porte, IN) – Holladay Properties has been granted 10-year tax abatement for a new, 11,700 square foot medical office building (MOB) within the NewPorte Landing development in La Porte, IN.
The project, located on an infill site, is expected to break ground in September and be completed in the spring of 2020. Holladay Construction Group will be the General Contractor, Curran Architecture is the building’s architect, and AbonMarche is the Civil Engineer.
The MOB will be located within the 17-acres of NewPorte Landing for which Holladay is the lead developer. The area is in the center of the overall 50-acre NewPorte Landing site and has streets and sidewalks already in place.
Holladay representatives have been working with the La Porte Economic Advancement Partnership (formerly the Greater La Porte Economic Development Corporation), the La Porte Redevelopment Commission, the Community Development Partnership, and the City of La Porte, Indiana since 2013 on the NewPorte Landing project, including providing consulting, remediation, and marketing services. The site was previously home to the Allis-Chalmers factories and involved extensive site remediation to make the land ready for development.
