Holladay plans 102-unit multifamily project along the Monon Trail
Holladay Properties’ Indianapolis office is planning a new mixed-use multifamily/retail development at 46th Street and the Monon Trail in Indianapolis. The project, known as Monon 46, will include three apartment buildings as well as a two-story retail building.
Monon 46 is situated roughly five miles north of downtown and just south of Broad Ripple along the Monon Trail — the most coveted amenity for multifamily buildings in Indianapolis. An IMH Products/CNC Fabrication building currently occupies the site, and will be demolished prior to starting construction.
Monon 46 will consist of a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments. The project will feature a 1,500 square foot clubhouse situated between the two buildings along the Monon Trail. The two-story retail building will sit at the northeast corner of the site.
The Monon Trail is a 27-mile paved multi-use path that follows a former section of the Chicago, Indianapolis and Louisville Railway, whose lines formed an X as they crossed in Monon. Located just a block from the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, which spans five downtown cultural districts with museums, theaters, shops, and restaurants, the Monon Trail starts at 10th Street in downtown. From the trailhead downtown to Broad Ripple is about a six-mile trek where you will experience everything from urban to industrial to residential.
