(Miami, FL) – The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Miami-Dade announced the winners of the prestigious “The Outstanding Building of the Year” (TOBY) awards at a ceremony on Friday, February 8, 2019.

The HCP-owned Mercy Professional Building I, which is managed by Holladay Properties, earned top honors in the medical category. Catherine Hernandez, Senior Property Manager, Antonio Betancurt, Regional Senior Engineer, Jackie Villamayor, Property Manager, and Roberto Jiminez, Building Engineer were on hand to accept the award.

“I am very proud to receive this award for Mercy Professional Building I on behalf of Holladay Properties and HCP, Inc our client,” Hernandez said. “The team and I worked countless hours preparing for the Toby judging that took place on January 29, 2019. Many, many thanks to Antonio Betancurt, Roberto Jimenez, Camilo Basail, Brian Swisher & Jackie Villamayor. Without my team, this accomplishment would not have reached fruition.”

Catherine Hernandez was also a nominee for Property Manager of the Year in the 10 plus years category. She has been a Senior Property Manager with Holladay for three years.

“I’d like to offer a very special thank you to Jackie Fermin, my manager who hired me three years ago this February 15th — my mission to transpose Mercy MOB I and II began three years ago and here we are, Mercy has reached Optimum Performance and still going strong as there is always room for improvement,” Hernandez said. “Thank you very much Jackie for entrusting Mercy to me, you are an amazing Leader, and you made this Award possible!”
