(Westmont, IL) On Thursday, August 6, Holladay Properties held a groundbreaking ceremony for Quincy Station, its new mixed-use multi-family residential development located in downtown Westmont at 1 W. Quincy Street. The ceremony was attended by Westmont and local elected officials, residents, area businesses and project team members.
“We had so many people RSVP for the groundbreaking that we actually had to create three different ceremonies so to abide by current social distancing mandates,” said Drew Mitchell, Vice President of Development for Holladay Properties. “We are extremely pleased to enter the next phase of this project and we are thankful to the Village and everyone who has supported us on this exciting development.”
There were two separate in-person ground-breaking events as well as a virtual event to celebrate the development. The virtual event can be found on Quincy Station’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/liveinwestmont and you can view a photo album from the event on Holladay Properties’ Facebook page. A video of the event was also published by The Village of Westment (click here to view the video).
Quincy Station is a five-story development that has been designed to foster an urban living environment for both new and existing residents. The highly amenitized condo-quality project will feature a leasing concierge, pet spa, temperature controlled parking structure with electric vehicle charging stations, fitness center, and rooftop club room overlooking the heart of downtown Westmont. At the event, Mitchell announced that the prospective first floor commercial tenant will be Whiskey Hill Brewing Company.
Quincy Station will include 94 luxury residential apartment units in a variety of floorplans. Apartments range from a 518 square foot studio unit to a 1,342 square foot two-bed, two-bath unit including a den.
The property is currently under construction with Holladay Construction Group serving as the General Contractor. The community is expected to open in 2021 with Holladay Properties as the Residential Property Manager.
