Allen Arender honored with “Pioneering Project of the Year Award”
The Nashville Business Journal (NBJ) has announced the winners of its inaugural class of Commercial Real Estate Leadership Awards and a Holladay Partner has made the list. Allen Arender, Executive Vice President of Development from Holladay’s Nashville, TN office, has been honored with a “Pioneering Project of the Year Award” for his involvement on both the Airport Logistics Park and Donelson Plaza revitalization projects.
“It’s great to see the efforts of so many designers, contractors, consultants and Holladay employees recognized in these development projects,” said Arender. “We hope to have created long lasting anchors for the Donelson community at Donelson Plaza, and for industrial development around the Nashville Airport with Airport Logistics Park.”
The Commercial Real Estate Leadership Awards, formerly known as the Power Leaders in Commercial Real Estate awards, recognize Nashville-area real estate professionals for making significant impacts in the industry in the previous year. Winners were selected by a panel of judges comprised of individuals from some of Nashville’s largest brokerage firms, whereas the Power Leaders in Commercial Real Estate awards were voted on by peers.
The Airport Logistics Park development broke ground in 2018 and is 95-acre industrial park near the Nashville International Airport. The project saw over 300,000 square feet of development in the past year.
The Donelson Plaza revitalization includes renovation and new development at an existing 200,000 square foot retail center on 11 acres in the Donelson community in Nashville. The renovation began in 2018 and Holladay Properties moved in to its new office within the property in 2019.
